this is my rebuilt talent build after experiencing a bit with the sub spec...

i advice to stack agility for this build, my rogue with around 850 agi has 2,1k ap 37% crit and almost 50% dodge... also my weaps are sword 2x blade of infamy with 15 agi enchants need 27 k rep to get 20 agi recipe i use 2 slow speed one handers cuz of the damage done.. combat has a talent t hat improves offhand dmg by 50% so having a slow weap in off isnt a bad choice

also dont forget about psn
mind numbling and crippling ftw!

and USE THROWN as ranged, guns/xbows/bows give only good stats nothing more, what would u prefer? 28 more agi 31 more sta? (using legion killer) and no use of it besides the stat bonus or 24 agi (twisted blades of zarrak) and DEADLY THROW finishing move, reducing movement speed and doing acceptable dmg :] i think is pretty obvious what to pick...

drums FTW

hmm now im gonna write item/gem/enchant set :

head :

stick with t6 helm untill u get Cursed Vision of Sargeras (illi 7% drop)
both got 1 meta slot and 1 normal so for gems use Relentless Earthstorm Diamond meta (12 agi 3% more crit dmg need 2 red 2 blue 2 yellow to work), the 2nd sock = 10 agi gem (crimson spinel made)

enchant - cenarion expedition revered rep = glyph of ferocity

neck :

imho best option = jc made necklace of the deep sock with 2x agi gems

shoulders :

t6 set u cant get better atm... for a rogue
2 sockets = 1x 10 crit rating gem (lionseye), 1x 5agi/7sta (shadowsong amethyst) so u can use ur meta...

enchants - naxx sapphiron drop or aldor/scryers inscriptions

cloak :

thalassian wildcloak (kael thalas drop) or Shadowmoon destroyers drape (teron BT) imho the kael one works better cuz i stack agi in my build

enchants = 12 agi

chest :

t6 ofc... 3 sockets = 3x 10 agi gems enchants = 6 stats

bracers :

insidious bands (teron bt) or the vindicator's (honor and wsg mark rep needed to buy) both got agi/sta crit/ap, both got 1 socket. use a 10 crit rating yellow gem there to get socket bonus and so u can use ur meta.
chants? use the AP one

gloves :

t6 set, gems : 10 agi
enchants : 15 agi

belt :

don alejandro's money belt (hyjal anatheron) socket it with 2x 10 agi gems

legs :

t6 set, socket it with 1x 5agi/7sta blue gem, as for enchants : Nethercleft leg amor 40sta/12agi. now u got all sockets needed for ur meta

boots :

shadowmaster's boots (bt mother drop) sock it with 2x 10 agi gems
enchants : dexterity ( 12 agi )

rings :

thats a hard one now, u can use 2x Band of Devastation for haste with slow weaps 2x BoD = 0,1 weap speed less

but if u stack agi best pick is :

Ring of Deceitful intent (akama bt)
Band of Eternity (SoS rep gained)
or the ring which is a reward for the Magtheridon's Head Quest

all got agi/sta ap so its best pick for rogue
chants? 4 stats but u can only do it if ur enchanter urself...

trinkets

pvp set :
1x renataki's charm of trickery ... why? cuz its a 2min cd instant 40 energy regen! great for a stunning opener
1x medallion of alliance ... dont need to explain why huh?

pve set :
1x tsunami talisman (ssc leotheras? or vendor... if its still there )
1x hourglass of the unravaller (black morass drop the dragon boss i dont remember name )

why? both got nice crit rating, both got ap buff on crit proc i can buff myself up to 3,3 k ap with those babies in raid

now the very essence of a rogue... WEAPONS:

2x Blade of Infamy enchanted with 15/20 agi NO MONGOOSE NO CRUS
why? cuz its blizzrate proc now so it hardly procs in pvp... and 15/20 agi is PERMAMENT

but the aim of every combat sword rogue are glaives ofc and s3 swords...

thrown weapon - THROWN, no guns no bows no xbows FFS
Twisted Blades of Zarrak (teron)

thats all enjoy

also try to get an aquamarine pendant of the warrior for self buffs, agi scrolls, elixirs of mongoose or greater agi both work good u can buff agi eating cooking made Warp Burgers too
LeatherWorking made drums of battle, drums of war can boost ur ap/haste
drums of speed/drums of resto are not working
i dont have the rep yet to test drums of panic (fears all surrounding enemies for 2sec OMG)
all drums got 5min cd btw
and only a person who is LW can use drums .

important skills and tips :

main attack skills :

1 - sinister strike - nice dmg, 40 energy with imp talents
2 - ghostly strike - good dmg too, 40 energry and adds 15% dodge ! great vs meleee...
3 - riposte - 10 energy? attack usable only after parrying ur opponents attack, disarms the target making it UNABLE to use melee abilities! godlike

stuns :

1 - sap - best opener, with talent it has a 10 yard range
2 - cheap shot - after sapping ur opponent and regaining full energry in stealth use it to begin the stunlock
3 - kidney shot - a finishing stun move used mostly in open combat or after cs
4 - gouge - an open combat incapacitator 5,5 sec time with talents, so it makes u able to LEGIT restealth in combat also adds 1 combo pt
5 - blind - nice range with talents for 10 sec ur blinded xD so u can LEGIT restealth and proceed with the stunlock

finishing moves :

1 - eviscerate - not the best but good for a quick ender
2 - deadly throw - THE BEST finishing move for PVP, dmg + slows target!
3 - slice and dice - a good finishing move only for PvE dont bother with the rest

abilities :

1 - vanish - makes u stealth in combat, use it only if u dont have any DOTS on urself cuz they brake stealth
2 - cloak of shadows - makes u resist all spells great vs casters
3 - sprint - well the usage of this ability is very wide... but i use it mostly vs locks/mages/shammies/hunters when they lower my speed so i can catch them up and kill . Rogue out of melee range and slowed = dead rogue
4 - blade flurry - more weapon speed and makes u attack 2 targets at once... the 2 target attack works thx to it i pawned 2 bear druids in front of kara yesterday at the same time
5 - adrenaline rush - omg 100% more energy regen. combine it with blade flurry and SnD in raids for massive spam dmg, or use in pvp when ur opponent is stunned mostly vs warr/pally/hunter/bear druids cuz of their high armor.
6 - distract, a good thing when u try to sap a caster
7 - evasion, gives u a lot of dodge... use vs melee only


now the really last thing im gonna post here

STUNLOCK

version 1 for beginners

stealth -> cheap shot -> sinister strike -> kidney shot

thats the easiest and most common opener ull ever see

version 2 for experienced players

stealth -> sap -> cheap shot -> ss -> kidney shot -> spam dmg but leave 40 energry for a gouge -> at last second of ur ks, gouge ur opponent -> vanish or restealth if u can do it LEGIT ( after 5 sec's out of combaT) -> sap (regen energy when opponent is sap'd) -> cheap shot -> ss -> kidney -> spam dmg

as u can see to play a rogue good u need to have good timing, good fps, and not much lag Lag > stunlock ((

now when msot ppl got the medallion of ally/horde they can free themselves from ur stunlock, in 90% case they'll use it when u kidney shot them if they do so, GOUGE THEM and proceed with the stunlock

u might ask, isnt sub better for stunlocking? hmm NO why?
cuz bs/ambush cost A LOT of energy, u need to be behind the enemy to do it and a COMBAT rogue can spam incredible amounts of dmg in every position and if ur stunlock fails, a sub rogue is dead cuz it SUX in open combat, while a combat rogue can still kill even without stunlocking ur oponent try combat and sub rogues in Bg's like wsg or arathi, soon enough ull see that combat gets more dmg/kills than sub. why is that? check and see for urself or ask me to join a bg with u so u can see teh powah of combat roguez!

u should all suck my dick now for writing that ;>

Cloak of shadows is one of ur most valuable skills against melee to
Paladins-Removes vindication(15%reduction of al stats) prevents holy shock and judgements
Warriors- removes disarm and all wound effects
Rogues- removes poisons and disarm
Bear Druids-removes bleeds and feral charge

also vs warriors when u are one ur second repeat of stunlock consider stealthing reopening and hitting evasion and blade flurry instead of doing another stunlock.
This works especially good on pallies with 3-4k health left cus by the time evasion is done they are at 1k healt will try to heal (kick it/gouge) and use ur CP's from SS spam during evasion for an eviscerate (use cold blood if u have for guarunteed crit)

also some formulas
1agility=1AP
1agility=2armour
40agility=1%crit
20agility=1%dodge

so say u had 100agility
+100AP
+200armour
+2.5%crit
+5%dodge

the really big pro on rogue is that they are currently bugged or the dodging is bugged because they you can dodge anything, except magic skills, but you can for example dodge melee attacks too which aren't dodgeable

Gday ppl...f4tal 3rr0r is the name...y'all might know me as shinobido(70 rogue) in game....former member of konoha guild, also used to be well respected there...i din't play the game for like 2 month's now so i'm a bit rusty i supose...and i'm really greatfull cuz the guild master dint kick me out of guild, even though my account wasn't active for quite a while....
